Join me this Thursday? + New CGM updates & Spring favorites

Hi Reader!

We made it to Spring! Besides the stink bugs and the seasonal allergies, I love everything about spring. The warmer weather, longer days, and everything blooming are such welcome changes. I always feel energized and refreshed this time of year.

I'm not sure how many of you are diehard Dexcom G6'ers like me, but I have been dreading the discontinuation of the G6 this summer. I have tried out some other CGMs over the past few months and just haven't felt like anything is as reliable or as accurate. Later this week, I am having the Eversense 365 inserted. I am very excited and a bit nervous. I'll be sure to provide updates along the way for anyone who is curious! If you have tried the Eversense, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.

What I'm loving this month on Amazon!

Here are a few of my favorite purchases from the past month:

  • Bubble Skin Care: My 9 year old daughter offically knows more about skincare than I do and she recently bought this moisterizer duo that I have been sneaking into her bathroom to use.
  • Snow Boots: HOPEFULLY we won't need these until next winter, but I tried these on when I was in Colorado last week and loved them. I found them on sale via Amazon in the grey color. I love that they are lightweight, super warm, and have bungee laces that don't need to be tied.
  • Running Vest: I may not be a runner, but I know I am going to get a ton of use out of this vest for walks, hikes, and other adventures this spring and summer. It is super lightweight, has a slim profile, and has pockets in the front and back to hold low snacks and a water bottle.
  • Jump Ropes: Another item I bought for my kids, but have been using for myself. I forgot how fun and how great a workout jumping rope is! Plus, these are so affordable and easy to travel with.
  • Chicken Shredder: This chicken shredder has GREAT reviews, came highly recommended, and I can't wait to try it out.

Until next time,

Lindsay

Hi Reader! School started for my kids this week, and maybe it’s the Type A in me, but being back to a routine feels glorious. I love summer, but by mid‑August I’m ready for cooler mornings and more predictable days. Evenings are officially back to chauffeuring my kids around to soccer, baseball, tennis, and gymnastics. For me, staying busy and having a steady rhythm makes blood‑sugar management so much easier. Next week I have an appointment with a new endocrinologist. My last endo left the...

Hi Reader! I always underestimate how busy summer gets. Between work, vacations, playdates, and being the mom taxi, life fills up fast. Because of that, I’ve paused taking Nourish clients so I can focus on my blog, Omnipod trainings, and private clients in the FTF Warrior program. I truly believe in the FTF Warrior program. It’s designed to help you tighten up your blood sugars, hit 90%+ time-in-range, and predict how food, exercise, and everyday life affect your blood sugars. If you want...

Hi Reader! Happy Prime Day! I've been scouring deals and found some fantastic finds that I use and love personally, that I just had to share with you. Check them out below! On another note, summer is officially here (and it's my absolute favorite time of year! 🌞), which means it's prime time to talk about keeping insulin cool. Between beach trips, pool days, and spontaneous outdoor adventures, don't forget that your insulin needs a little extra TLC in the heat. Speaking of summer vibes, have...
